The webhook payload doesn't expose a usable address for most installers (GitHub email is private by default and the <login>@users.noreply.github.com alias is write-only — every send guaranteed to bounce). End-to-end test confirmed the wiring works but the recipient was always invalid. Users discover the bot through @mention and the auto-triage / auto-summary that fires on their next issue or PR — that's the real onboarding moment, not an email. Mirrors uninstall, which has always been ops-only. Ops notifications to AGENTICMAIL_OPS_EMAIL still fire on both create and delete so the operator gets pinged on every install event.
